Last Saturday was one of the most fun meetups we ever had. There were more than 10 people attended the hangout, and our place was just as special as those who spent the afternoon with us.
WordPress Development with Varying Vagrant Vagrants (VVV)
Guy Magayano, a full-stack developer and UI designer, walked us through this new and alternative workflow in developing your WordPress websites locally. For an overview, VVV is your alternative tool to MAMP, LAMP and XAMPP. I’d encourage developers to checkout and play around this tool. Best of all it’s open source.

During the community time, aside from the usual Q&A and discussions, we had this game ‘Pinoy Henyo’ stuffed with words anything related to WordPress. I personally had so much fun and I knew I’ve been organizing this meetup with not much excitement going around but Andrew saved the day! Also, I hope that doesn’t make me a boring person 😀
We’re not going to end this without thanking our amazing sponsor during the meetup.
Automattic for the venue, foods and refreshments. They are the company behind WordPress.com, Jetpack, Akismet, Polldaddy among others. You can follow them on Twitter, Facebook, and Github.
We’d also like to thank Andrew (again), an Automattician, for the swags as always, and for such a fun game. More games and prices para more chances of winning!
Thanks to our WordPress Davao community members for the photos
